The final thing that is important to point out when we are talking about saving money on wedding invitations is to be careful not to “totally cheap out”.
Your invitations are an important first impression. There are many cost saving tips to keep printing prices down but I like to think of paper like fabric, you kinda get what you pay for (which doesn’t mean you can’t find something awesome on an H&M budget!). But don’t forget that THE MOST TANGIBLE ELEMENT OF YOUR WEDDING for your guests is the invitation! Other than photos, your invitation is all that is left for generations.
While the flowers, the wine, the cake last for one night only, the invitations are in peoples’ homes for two months prior to the wedding. Yes, they may get tossed EVENTUALLY, but family and friends will have your invitations for several months while everything else has a much more limited show time.
Fill in the fields below and post your reaction.
