Be sure to check out our blog this summer, filled with amazing photos from our guest blogger Rebecca Kutys of Moontree Letterpress.

Pocket folds are all the rage these days, especially if a lot of your guests are coming from out of town and you need to give them extra info cards. It requires a little extra postage in some cases but the presentation is top notch.

This week I’m going to feature some of the store’s card lines produced by Brooklyn artists. This is a cool birthday card by the delightful Minhee of Paper+Cup. P+C has a line of composition/school supplies designs, so cute.

A very nice color combination with yellow invitation and lime green liner.

Here’s an interesting twist – a digitally printed invitation made to look like distressed woodtype letterpress. I like the red!

Liners definitely aren’t a must, but they do add another layer of formality or color (depending on the paper you choose). I love this ornate european paper, it really trasforms the invitation set.

Here’s a cool idea for a ceremony program…
Here’s a great blog mention from our friends at Brooklyn Industries.
Be sure to join us July 30th (7-9pm) for a very special event. Lion in the Sun will be hosting its first-ever blogger event with Brooklyn’s own Vane Broussard of Brooklyn Bride! Come drink wine and browse the collections as we listen to Vane discuss the latest trends with a fellow special guest wedding blogger. Attendees will receive great discounts on future orders. Stay tuned, more details to come!
If interested in attending, please email shop@lioninthesunps.com and put “RSVP July 30 event” in the header.

Totally in love with this gorgeous diecut envelopement. So modern, and yet also really elegant. There is a slight shimmer to the stock, lovely.
