We’re pleased to have been photographed by Karen Wise in a featured wedding in Style Me Pretty from May 16, 2011. Also, we received a great post from the local listing site Paper & String on the 18th.
On Tuesday, May 17th, as part of the 2011 National Stationery Show’s event series, Melinda appeared on the panel “Top Stationery Retailers Talk Top Trends” with Holly Bretschneider of Salutations, Harriet Malmon of Francis-Orr and Daniel Mulhern of M Milestones. Because the panelists all came from radically different markets, discussion was quite insightful for those of us in the business. They started by noting trends seen at the show and from retail experience, but the conversation also touched on the store owners’ top selling items, social marketing ideas, internet and printing challenges, and much more.
Here’s a moment of show and tell from the panel…

Melinda provides her top tips for multicultural and bilingual wedding invitations in the spring 2011 issue of Chicago Bride.

Sitting round the campfire in this utterly fun display by Lion in the Sun’s Marcella, are a couple of marshmallow roasting Bla-Bla dolls, but also some great stationery sets and other goodies for campers and their parents.
