Coming up this Sunday is the Seventh Heaven Street Fair running along 7th Avenue from Flatbush to 16th Street. Fun for all except maybe if you’re looking for parking. Oh, and there’s a scavenger hunt to boot!
National Stationery Show 2011

On Tuesday, May 17th, as part of the 2011 National Stationery Show’s event series, Melinda appeared on the panel “Top Stationery Retailers Talk Top Trends” with Holly Bretschneider of Salutations, Harriet Malmon of Francis-Orr and Daniel Mulhern of M Milestones. Because the panelists all came from radically different markets, discussion was quite insightful for those of us in the business. They started by noting trends seen at the show and from retail experience, but the conversation also touched on the store owners’ top selling items, social marketing ideas, internet and printing challenges, and much more.
